FORMULA 1 FAN GERALD EXPERIENCES THE AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 LIVE IN SPIELBERG!
Gerald from Styria had the chance to experience an unforgettable Formula 1 weekend at the Austrian Grand Prix in Spielberg from June 26 to 29, 2025, together with his guest. A dream that came true for him thanks to the ServusTV Helmet Initiative in support of Wings for Life. The exclusive experience began on Wednesday with check-in at the hotel, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the spectacular motorsport event to the fullest.
With his VIP tickets, Gerald was granted access to the exclusive paddock area and witnessed up close what usually happens behind the scenes of Formula 1. A special highlight: he personally met numerous drivers and snapped selfies with stars such as Max Verstappen, George Russell, Fernando Alonso, and Yūki Tsunoda. These encounters made the weekend a true fan dream. And even away from the action, the experience was first-class. In the VIP lounge, Gerald enjoyed delicious food and relaxing hours in a unique atmosphere.
Another highlight was the exclusive paddock tour with the Racing Bulls, which gave Gerald a fascinating insight into the work of the teams and the processes behind the scenes. The tension and adrenaline were palpable everywhere as the teams prepared for the race.
The emotional highlight of the weekend was the ceremonial helmet handover at the Red Bull Energy Station. ServusTV presenter Andrea Schlager personally presented Gerald with the signed helmet, bearing the signatures of all Formula 1 drivers of the 2024 season. This unique moment was captured in a photo of Gerald, Andrea, and the helmet, creating a very special memory for him. Afterwards, an exclusive meet & greet followed with Wolfgang Illek from Wings for Life and Peter Bayer from the Visa Cash App RB F1 Team, offering further exciting insights.
The days were filled with thrilling practice sessions, qualifying, and the big race on Sunday, where Lando Norris triumphed in a close battle against his teammate Oscar Piastri to claim victory. Gerald was able to experience the special atmosphere of the race live on site and fully immerse himself in the fascination of Formula 1.
The entire weekend was dedicated to a good cause: Gerald’s commitment was rewarded with an experience that will remain unforgettable. For him, it was not just a motorsport event, but truly an experience of a lifetime — full of emotions, adrenaline, and exclusive insights into the world of Formula 1.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to ServusTV, Wings for Life, and everyone involved who made this unforgettable moment possible.
