Alzheimer’s disease gradually destroys memory, consciousness and personality. For people with Alzheimer’s and their families, this is often a very painful and distressing process.

For over 25 years, we have been committed to making Alzheimer’s curable through our independent research funding. In addition, we support those affected and anyone interested by providing comprehensive information on Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

This issue is particularly close to Casper’s heart: his grandmother herself suffered from Alzheimer’s – an experience that had a profound impact on him.

That is precisely why he wants to play an active role in ensuring that more can be done in the future: for earlier diagnosis, better treatment options and, ultimately, more hope for those affected and their families.

Driven by this personal motivation, he is making his world champion’s bike available – with the aim of raising as many donations as possible for Alzheimer’s research and thus making a real difference.
