Registering for VIPrize makes it easier for you to use the site in the future. Once entered, your details will be securely stored. When signed in, you can view your profile at any time to track the Prize Draws that you have entered, how many many entries you currently have on your account, or edit any of your account details. Our Newsletter will keep you up-to-date with Prize Draws that might interest you, and other news. There is an option for you to opt out of this if you do not want to receive it.

In case you just want to donate without receiving entries, just mark the box „I just want to donate and no entries“ in the check out process and you will not participate in the prize raffle, but still support the charity project.

In addition to the direct integration of PayPal Express Checkout, we are also collaborating with micropayment as our payment provider. Micropayment has instructed independent auditors to regularily check and certify the data security by audits and PEN-Tests. The IT-infrastructure and the complete application level of micropayment are certified by PCI-DSS Level 1.
Yes. Age restrictions will vary between 13+, 16+ and 18 depending on the nature of the particular Prize Draw. An adult guardian must accompany any winner under the age of 18 to the prize experience. Please also see point 4.1. in our Terms and Conditions.
No. There are several options for users to enter the Prize Draws for free without donating. Users will receive free entries for their registration (10 free entries) or for sharing the experience with friends via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail (50 free entries per friend).
For each of our campaigns you also have the opportunity to receive additional free entries by sending a post card (see "Postal Entry Route" package on each campaign site).A maximum of 10 entries can be made per postcard or envelope received. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be made this way (if you send us five postcards, you will get 50 free entries to the raffle).
Winners will be notified by e-mail shortly after the campaign closes. They must then accept the prize by the deadline indicated in the e-mail in order to be named the winner.
When you enter a draw you will receive entries which will be displayed in your VIPrize account. The winner will be selected by our Random Number Generator software once all entries for the competition have been completed.
The probability of winning a Prize Draw can differ depending on how many people enter a particular Prize Draw. Each entry is equivalent to one chance of winning, and so the probability of winning a Prize Draw will be one divided by the number of entries sold and distributed for that particular Prize Draw. For example, if there are 100 entries sold and distributed for a particular Prize Draw, each entry has a 1 in 100 chance of winning. If you obtain multiple entries then your chances of winning increase.
This depends on the experience, and each campaign page will specify this. Usually there is just one winner, but in some cases there are multiple winners. In order to cover some of our operating costs and to further develop our platform, VIPrize takes a standard fee of 20% of the net proceeds for each Prize Draw (e.g. after transaction costs have been deducted). The chosen Charity will receive 80% of the net proceeds.
VIPrize is a full-service platform and manages all aspects of the Prize Draw process, from the prize development to prize fulfilment onsite. Our many services include marketing and PR, graphic design, video production, credit and debit card payment options, legal services and accounting, and customer service.
Unfortunetaly, we cannot issue a donation receipt as VIPrize is a technical platform, which enables Charity Organisations to generate donations, and not a non-profit organization.

Yes. Next to the standard registration via Email, VIPrize users can log on using "Single Sign-On“ via your Facebook account. You can also connect your VIPrize account with Facebook at a later stage in order to easily share our campaigns with your friends.
Facebook Connect is a quick and secure way to create an account with VIPrize via your Facebook account. Of course, no sensitive data is transferred without permission. VIPrize strictly respects your privacy settings at Facebook.

You have of course the possibility to delete your customer account and your personal data at VIPrize. Please send us an email to info@viprize.org with the following information: Your e-mail address with which you registered on www.viprize.org, your username and the cancellation. After receiving your e-mail we will delete your account and your personal data and confirm this process by e-mail.
After entering a prize draw, you will have the option to pick a friend via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail you would like to bring with you to the prize experience if you win. You can also decide to choose the friend at a later stage, and prize winners are under no legal obligation to bring the friends they "picked“ to the prize experience.
You can get additional entries for sharing the prize experience with your friends via Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail. Once the entry process is complete, a unique link will be sent to you via e-mail or you will find it after you donation on the thank you page which you just need to share with your friends via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail.
You will automatically receive 50 extra entries for each friend who participates at VIPrize through this link. You can check in your VIPrize account how many entries for each prize draw you have already received. Please note that you will only receive the 50 extra entries if your friend has actually signed up and participates at VIPrize via this unique link. Your friend will also automatically receive 10 free entries for signing up at VIPrize.
