A unique winner experience with Atakan Karazor

Our winner Katharina enjoyed a very special experience in Stuttgart: as part of the charity campaign in aid of the Baden-Württemberg Cancer Association, she met Atakan Karazor in person.

The presentation of the original DFB Cup final boots took place on the impressive campus of VfB Stuttgart, where Katharina and her companion were first given a short tour. This gave them exciting insights behind the scenes and allowed them to see areas that are normally reserved for players and staff only.

It was particularly touching how much time Atakan took for Katharina. He greeted her warmly, talked about the cup match and patiently answered all her questions. The handover of the cup boots thus became a very personal moment, full of appreciation and emotion.

A few days later, Katharina and her companion went to the stadium, where she was able to redeem her VIP tickets for the VfB Stuttgart home game against SC Freiburg.
