Meet & greet, a signed guitar and reggae under an open sky

For our winner, Alexandra, a dream came true on 31 July 2026: seeing The Wailers live at the Stadtpark Open Air in Hamburg, an exclusive meet-and-greet with the legendary band and, as a special highlight, a one-of-a-kind guitar.

The meeting point was at 6.45 pm at the entrance to the Stadtpark. Using the guest list, she bypassed the queue and went straight backstage, and even before the first note was played, it was clear that this evening was going to be something very special.

At 7.30 pm, the moment finally arrived: during the exclusive meet-and-greet, The Wailers presented Alexandra with her grand prize – a Duesenberg Calypso in a reggae design, which the band signed for her right there on the spot. The prize-giving was filmed by a crew from NDR.

Afterwards, it was time to head to the front of the stage. As part of their “50 Years of Positive Vibrations” tour, The Wailers thrilled the Hamburg audience with the greatest reggae classics. Together with Bob Marley, they made music history, and on this summer evening, the entire Stadtpark sang along to their songs at the top of their voices.

By taking part, Alexandra not only won this once-in-a-lifetime experience, but also supported the vital work of War Child Germany. The organisation works worldwide to help children affected by war and conflict, offering them new prospects through protection, education and psychosocial support. Music plays a special role in this, as it often reaches children where words are no longer enough.

A heartfelt thank you to Alexandra, The Wailers and the whole War Child team for this unforgettable evening.
